After months of waiting, the Google Assistant app has finally arrived on the Galaxy Watch 4. According to this post, Samsung is currently adding Google Assistant to Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, and I can confirm this is absolutely true as I have received the app yesterday.
With Google Assistant on the Galaxy Watch 4, owners now have two voice assistants; Bixby and Google Assistant on the watch. This will give you options to choose your preferred voice assistant. Of course, Google Assistant will most likely be a popular choice among users as it’s more intelligent than Bixby (my own perspective).
If you have received the Google Assistant app on your Galaxy Watch 4, you will need to activate it to get full access. You will need your phone to complete the process and you also need internet access enabled on your phone. In this post, I’ll walk you through step by step on how to activate Google Assistant on your Galaxy Watch 4. The process is very simple.
Note that you need internet access enabled on your phone and it should be near the GW4.
