Fossil Gen 5E Full Specifications and Features – Fossil has released Gen 5E which has fewer features when compared to Gen 5 that was released last year. However, it’s a fine-looking fitness-oriented classic smartwatch with 1GB RAM, 4GB music storage, a loudspeaker, a microphone, and powered by the Snapdragon 3100 chip despite the availability of a more advanced Snapdragon 4100 that already powers Ticwatch Pro 3.

Fossil Gen 5E comes in two sizes; 42mm and 44mm which gives Fossil and Wear OS fans the option of choosing their preferred size. Its durably built with a stainless steel case that extends to the bezel, while the straps come in different materials which include silicone, stainless steel, and leather. The 42mm model is available in rose-gold and two-tone colors paired with 18mm leather, stainless steel mesh, or stainless steel straps that are interchangeable, while the 44mm model comes in black color paired with 22mm interchangeable black silicone, stainless steel, or leather straps. The touchscreen display and one rotating crown button are used as means of accessing the device, and you can choose from the many available watch faces to customize the appearance of the watch.

Gen 5E is able to track your heart, sleep, calories, steps, distance, and more. It has Google Fit as its fitness companion app with access to other third-party fitness apps. It also has an inbuilt GPS that allows you to track outdoor activities such as routes and locations.

It has a loudspeaker and microphone that allows you to make and receive calls directly from the watch when it’s connected to a compatible phone, while the music storage capability allows you to stream and store your favorite playlist and tracks on the watch. There’s Google Pay that allows you to make a payment from this watch, while with Google Assistant, you can use your voice to carry out simple tasks.

Gen 5E like Gen 5 can be set up to receive notifications from the Wear OS app, which allows you to manage notifications received on your connected phone. You can also reply to messages received on phone, and you can get up to a day battery life and over a day with battery saver mode activated.
