Description
Garmin Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire Solar Full Specifications – The Fenix 7 series is one of the most expensive Garmin watches, and that’s right because they are not just durably built but also boast a quantum number of activity tracking features plus a long battery life that lets you go multiple days from a single charge. The Fenix 7 comes in three sizes; 42mm (Fenix 7S), 47mm (Fenix 7) and 51mm (Fenix 7X), and each of these is available in different models. Meanwhile, the Fenix 7 comes in 6 different models which include Fenix 7 Standard, Fenix 7 Solar (discontinued), Fenix 7 Sapphire Solar, Fenix 7 Pro Solar, Fenix 7 Pro Solar (no-wifi) and Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire Solar. The Pro models released in May 2023 are the latest models and the most advanced. All 6 models have the same design and features but the Pro models feature ECG, LED flashlight, higher storage capacity and as well have an ambient light sensor that auto regulates the brightness of the display.
The Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire is a premium multisport GPS watch that is durably built and well-equipped to track all the way you move. It has a fiber-polymer frame paired with a silicone strap while the screen is a premium Sapphire glass material and bezel and rear are made of titanium. It is also rated 10ATM which means it can survive water pressure up to 100 meters, and as such it’s safe to wear it to the pool or ocean.
The watch is also easy to operate, thanks to the touchscreen display and 5 physical buttons. Meanwhile, the Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire Solar is available in carbon gray and fog gray colors.
Like many other Garmin watches, the Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire has a 1.3 inches transflective MIP colored display that’s bright and easy to read even under direct sunlight. It is also equipped with an ambient light sensor that auto-regulates the brightness of the display. And like other Fenix 7 Pro models, the Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire Solar also has an LED flashlight that can help illuminate dark spaces which can come in handy if you choose to train at night.
In the health and activity tracking department, the Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire Solar is fully equipped to track all the ways you move. It features the newly introduced ECG app that will allow you to take ECG tests directly from your wrist. It will also allow you to monitor your skin temperature for changes. Moreover, it features all the regular tracking features such as tracking your heart rate, sleep, stress, blood oxygen, and floors.
The Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire Solar also features training readiness which gives you an overview of your fitness level. You also get other health tracking features like Health snapshot, respiration and hydration tracking. And like other Fenix 7 pro models, the 7 Pro Sapphire Solar supports multi-band GPS that allows for increased outdoor tracking, especially in difficult terrains. It also comes with preloaded TopoActive maps as well as road/trail and ski resort maps. You also get a long list of other activity tracking features as well as many sports profiles.
In the storage department, the Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire Solar is equipped with 32GB storage that will allow you to download music to the watch. Music can be downloaded from Spotify, Amazon Music and Deezer. Once music is downloaded to the watch, you can listen offline by connecting a Bluetooth headphone.
Managing notifications is also one of the functions of the Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire Solar. When notification is enabled for your preferred apps, the watch will vibrate every time you get new messages and you will have the option to reply with preset quick replies (Android only). Moreover, images contained in messages can now be viewed on the watch.
As per the battery life, the Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire Solar boasts a monster battery life that will allow you to go long from a single charge. According to Garmin, the Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire solar can go up to 18 days from a single charge and when Solar kicks in, it’s up to 18 days. That’s an incredible battery life for a GPS watch.
