The Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro is a finely crafted smartwatch that boasts a very prestigious appearance and loads of health tracking features that makes it a comprehensive health tracker. It is a higher-end version of the Huawei Watch GT 3 and it succeeds the Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro. The GT 3 Pro comes with 4GB storage, a microphone, speaker and boasts up to multiple days of battery life.

Like the Huawei Watch GT 3, the GT 3 Pro comes in two sizes. You have the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro titanium which is the 46mm unit and the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro Ceramic which is the 42mm unit. Both have the same features except for the differences in sizes, battery life and of course price.

Design

The Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro Ceramic going by its name has a nanocrystalline ceramic frame that extends to its back and no doubt makes it a finer watch than the titanium version. Moreover, the bezel is stainless steel which adds to its beauty while the straps measuring 20mm come in leather or ceramic materials. The strap is swappable, so you can change it to another compatible strap of your choice.

Both the 42mm and 46mm units of the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro are rated 5ATM which means waterproof up to 50 meters. And with a new depth sensor, the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro supports diving up to 30 meters underwater. While in the water, the depth sensor enables the watch to track depth, duration underwater and other related metrics.

Display

The Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro Ceramic has a 1.32 inches display which is powered by AMOLED and also very colorful and easy to read. It has a couple of preloaded watch faces and more can be downloaded from the companion app. Interacting with the watch is also easy, thanks to the touchscreen display, a rotating crown and flat side buttons.

Health Tracking

The Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro comes with several sensors that enable it to track all the way you move plus advanced metrics like ECG and skin temperature.

The watch will track your heart rate, calories, sleep, stress and blood oxygen. It also has a skin temperature sensor that will allow you to measure your skin temperature anytime. With an ECG sensor, the GT 3 Pro will allow you to take an ECG test directly from your wrist.

In addition, the GT 3 Pro comes with over 100 preloaded sports modes and can auto-detect and track 6 exercises.

Media and Receiving Calls

With up to 4GB storage capacity, the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro supports onboard music storage. You can add your personal music to the watch and enjoy it via a Bluetooth headphone. It also has a microphone and speaker which will allow you to take calls as well as reject calls directly from the watch when your phone is nearby.

Battery Life

Aside from having a premium build, the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro titanium also has a long battery that lets you go multiple days from a single charge. In typical usage, it’s up to 14 days of battery life, and with heavy usage, you can get up to 8 days of battery life.

With the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro Ceramic, it’s up to 7 days of battery life in typical usage, and with heavy usage, you should get up to 4 days of battery life.

Price

In terms of the prices, surprisingly, the smaller GT 3 Pro Ceramic has a higher price tag than its titanium counterpart. While the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro titanium retails for $295, the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro Ceramic retails for $430.
