Ticwatch Pro vs S2 vs E2: Which is Better?
- DESIGN:
- WATERPROOF RATING:
- CONNECTIVITY:
- Bluetooth Calling
- BATTERY LIFE:
Although all three watches look decent, the Pro is a more sturdy and durable smartwatch. Its reinforced carbon fiber case is stronger than the polyamide of S2 and polycarbonate used for E2. Moreover, its innovative dual AMOLED/FSTN display tries to solve the age-long short battery life problem encountered on Wear OS smartwatches running on the Snapdragon 2100 chip.
With the FSTN display activated, the Pro will last up to 30 days, although this will deactivate all Wear OS features leaving only the basic functions such as time. Moreover, the S2 and E2 lack an ambient light sensor which is present on the Pro.
If you intend to wear your watch to the pool, the S2 or E2 will be better choices as these two with a 5ATM rating (waterproof up to 50 meters) are swim-proof, unlike the Pro rated IP68 (waterproof up to 1.5 meters). Although, the new Ticwatch Pro 4G is now certified swim-proof by Mobvoi.
The Pro comes with an NFC chip which enables Google Pay, a non-contactless payment system that allows you to make payments on the go from this device, unlike the S2 and E2 which both lack NFC.
While the E2 and S2 are only equipped with a microphone, the Ticwatch Pro is equipped with both a microphone and speaker. As a result, you can make and receive calls from the Ticwatch Pro when your phone is nearby.
All three watches have an average of 2 days of battery life with mixed usage, but the Pro with dual display mode will last longer. Thanks to the FSTN display.
VERDICT: No doubt, these three are really nice smartwatches, but the Ticwatch Pro is a premium smartwatch with more features and longer battery life. While the Ticwatch S2 and E2 – are two decent fitness smartwatches and being cheaper are great choices if you’re low on budget.
