How to Connect WhatsApp to Galaxy Watch Active 2
Before you can receive WhatsApp notifications on the Active 2, you will need to enable it in the Galaxy Wearable app. Once enabled, you will be able to receive and reply to WhatsApp messages on the Active 2.
To enable WhatsApp notifications on the Active 2, open the Galaxy Wearable and click on watch settings. This will take you to the device’s settings dashboard.
Tap on notifications and enable notifications. You can choose to show notifications only when wearing the watch. You can also choose to show while using your phone (it’s advised you to turn this option off to get longer battery life from the Active 2).
If you tap on “see all notification settings” you will be able to set Active 2 to automatically show details of new messages. And you can also choose to turn on the display whenever a new message is received.
Now that you have toggled on notifications for Active 2, you need to toggle on notifications specifically for WhatsApp.
You should see the WhatsApp app in the list of recently sent notifications, otherwise, tap on see all and toggle on notifications for the WhatsApp app.
Once you have toggled on notifications for WhatsApp, you can close the Galaxy Wearable app.
You have successfully connected WhatsApp to Active 2. When you receive a new WhatsApp message, you’ll get alerted on the Active 2.
