As a result of the bigger case size, the 44mm has a bigger battery capacity, it has a 410mAh capacity compared to 284mAh of the 40mm unit. Samsung claims the Galaxy Watch 5 has up to 50hrs of battery life, you can expect the 40mm unit to have a battery life slightly lower than that.
Because the 44mm unit has a bigger display and longer battery life, it’s priced higher than the 40mm unit. The Bluetooth model of the 44mm unit is priced at $300 while the LTE unit is priced at $350. Meanwhile, the Bluetooth model of the 40mm unit is priced at $280, while the 44mm unit is priced at $330.
The available colors also differ, while the 40mm is available in black, silver, and pink-gold, the 44mm is available in black, silver, and blue colors.
In summary, the 44mm unit is priced higher because it has a bigger display and slightly longer battery life.

The Galaxy Watch 5 has a lot of features in common with its predecessor, the Galaxy Watch 4. Like the Galaxy Watch 4, the Galaxy Watch 5 has the same appearance, shape, 16GB storage, microphone, and speaker.
