The Pro models released in May 2023 are the latest and the most comprehensive. All 5 models have the same design and features but the Pro models feature ECG, LED flashlight, higher storage capacity and as well have an ambient light sensor that auto regulates the brightness of the display.

All the Fenix 7S models come in a 42mm frame size which makes it a more compact choice among the Fenix 7 and 7X models. It’s also quite lightweight at 42 grams, thanks to its small footprint and the lightweight fiber-polymer frame which is paired with 18mm swappable silicone straps. The Fenix 7s Pro Sapphire Solar is a premium GPS watch, it has premium sapphire glass which is highly resistant to scratches. I can confirm this because my Galaxy Watch 5 Pro also has a sapphire glass and despite my many travails with the watch, it has no single scratch. The Fenix 7s Pro sapphire solar is also rated 10ATM, this means it can survive water pressure up to 100 meters and as such is swim-proof. The watch is also equipped with an LED flashlight that’s significantly bright enough to illuminate dark spaces. It comes in handy for those who prefer to workout at night.

The Fenix 7s Pro Sapphire solar is also easy to interact with, thanks to the touch-sensitive screen and 5 physical buttons. You will find it in two colors which include carbon-gray with a black band and soft gold with a light sand band.

As a result of its 42mm case size, the Fenix 7s has the smallest display size of 1.2 inches which like the Fenix 7 and 7x models is also powered by a colorful transflective MIP LCD that’s bright and easy to read outdoors even under direct sunlight. Moreover, the Fenix 7s Pro Sapphire Solar has an ambient light sensor that automatically regulates the brightness of the display.

In the fitness activity tracking department, the Fenix 7s Pro Sapphire Solar is equipped with an inbuilt GPS and some sensors that make it a comprehensive activity tracker. It also has multi-band GPS that ensures that even in difficult terrains like those with very tall buildings or trees, the watch can still track your routes and pace accurately. Basically, it can track your heart rate, blood oxygen and stress all day. It can also track your skin temperature and features the newly introduced ECG app that lets you take ECG tests directly from the watch. Moreover, you get loads of sports profiles and a long list of other activity-tracking features.
