Amazfit in June 2023 introduced a new series to their rich lineup of watches. The company announced the release of the Cheeter series which consists of three very similar but slightly different watches. This includes the Cheeter Square, Cheeter Round and a more equipped Cheeter Pro. These three share a lot of similarities but differ in build quality and Bluetooth calls support. In this post, we’ll be discussing the differences between the three watches to help you understand how they stack up against each other.
Each of the three models in the Cheeter series has similar health-tracking features, the same AMOLED display and a fibre-polymer build. However, the main difference between the three watches is that while the Cheeter Round and Square have tempered glass screens, a more durable Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protects the display of the Cheeter Pro. Moreover, while the Cheeter Pro has a more durable titanium alloy bezel, the Square has an aluminum bezel while Cheeter Round has a fiber-polymer bezel.
Furthermore, while all three watches have a microphone that supports Alexa and offline voice assistant features, the Cheeter Pro also has a speaker that enables it to make and receive calls as long as your phone is nearby.
The battery life also differs, with Cheeter Pro and Round you can get up to 14 days long battery life, its up to 7 days with Cheeter Square.
Beyond these few differences, all three watches have similar features.

Design
Mere looking at the appearances of these three, you will notice that while Cheeter Pro and Round have circular shapes, Cheeter Square has a square shape.
Zepp Health seems to have taken inspiration from the designs of the Apple Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watches to come up with the designs of the Cheeter Square and Cheeter Pro/Round respectively. No doubt, they did a pretty job at that.
Each of these three has a durable and lightweight design. The frame of all three watches is made of a fiber-polymer material while the bezel material differs. It’s a titanium alloy bezel for the Cheeter Pro, an aluminum-alloy bezel for the Cheeter Square and a fiber-polymer bezel for the Cheeter Round.
And talking about the weights, the Cheeter Square at just 25g weighs the least. Meanwhile, Cheeter Pro and Round weigh 34g and 32g respectively. Interestingly, while all three watches are relatively slim, Cheeter Square is even slimmer. It’s just 9.9mm thick.
All three watches have interchangeable straps. The Cheeter Round and Pro have the same 22mm strap size while Cheeter Square has 20mm wide straps. Meanwhile, while the Cheeter Pro comes with a nylon strap, the other two come with a silicone strap.
All three watches are also rated 5ATM which means each of these is water resistant up to 50 meters. In other words, it’s safe to wear any of these to the shower or even the swimming pool.
So, as per the design, each of the three models in the Cheeter series has an outstanding design. However, Cheeter Pro has a more durable build.
Display
In terms of display, all three models in the Cheeter series have the same AMOLED display with brightness up to 1000 nits which means you shouldn’t have any problem reading complications on any of these three, however, the display sizes differ. While Cheeter Pro has a 1.45 inches display size, Cheeter Round has a smaller 1.39 inches display. Meanwhile, the square-shaped Cheeter Square has a 1.75 inches display (same as Apple Watch 8).
Interacting with all three watches is also easy. You get touchscreen support on all three watches in addition to a rotating button and a physical button. Meanwhile like the Apple Watch Ultra, Cheeter Square has a dedicated quick-start button that lets you easily access start a workout.
All three watches are powered by Zepp 2.0 – this is the latest version of the proprietary OS, and it boasts an interesting user interface and a significant number of both native and third-party apps.
With regards to the display, clearly, all three watches have a decent display that’s easy to read.
Fitness Tracking
Keeping track of your health and helping you stay fit is at the core of all three members of the Cheeter series. Each of these three is equipped with a Biotracker 3.0 PPG sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope and barometric altimeter sensors. These sensors enable 24/7 heart rate, blood oxygen and stress monitoring. Each of these three will also track your sleep in all four stages of sleep.
All three watches also have inbuilt GPS with support for 6 satellite systems that ensure consistency in location tracking. Interestingly, all three watches also support dual-band GPS which uses the L1 and L5 signals to ensure mapping accuracy even in difficult terrains.
Like the T-Rex Ultra, GTS 4 and GTR 4, the Cheeter series also feature the route import function that will allow you to import your favorite routes to the watch and get navigational guidance as you explore. Moreover, you have the option to download offline maps directly from the Zepp app.
The number of sports modes present in all three watches is also the same. Each features 156 sports modes and can auto-detect and track 8 exercises as well as can auto-detect what muscle group is worked for 25 strength training exercises.
Clearly, there is no difference in health tracking features. All three watches in the Cheeter series have similar fitness tracking features.
Music Storage and Calls
Music in my ears is all the inspiration that I need, and this is one of my favourite features in smartwatches. Interestingly, all three watches in the Cheeter series will allow you to store your favourite tracks onboard the watch which you can listen to offline by connecting a Bluetooth headphone. Music can easily be transferred from the Zepp app to the watch.
All three watches are also equipped with a microphone that enables Alexa and offline voice assistants. There is a speaker in the Cheeter Pro which the other two lacks. As a result, you can make and receive calls directly from the Cheeter Pro as long as your phone is nearby. This is not possible with Cheeter Round or Square.
Notifications
In addition to the awesome design, loads of health tracking and music storage features, all three members of the Cheeter series will also help you manage notifications received on your phone. When notifications for select apps are enabled, you will be alerted when you receive a message and you also have the option to reply to messages using the quick reply function.
Beyond helping you manage notifications, the Zepp 2.0 operating system boasts of a decent number of apps which include utility apps like alarm, timer, find my phone and remote camera control (iPhone) apps.
Battery Life
The battery life of all three models in the Cheeter series is also great. However, the Cheeter Pro and Round have longer battery life than Cheeter Square. This can be attributed to the smaller battery capacity which is obviously the compromise for its slimmer build.
While Cheeter Square is equipped with a 240mAh battery capacity, the other two are equipped with a bigger 440mAh battery. As a result, the Cheeter Pro and Round can go up to 14 days in typical usage and up to 7 days with heavy usage.
Meanwhile, you get up to 7 days of battery life with Cheeter Square.

Going by the design, health tracking, music storage and other features as well as the battery life, it’s just to the say that each of these three is a comprehensive smartwatch with an outstanding design. However, the Cheeter Pro has a more durable build and Bluetooth call functionality.
With Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and titanium alloy gracing the screen and bezel respectively, Cheeter Pro has a more durable build than the other two. Moreover, it is equipped with a speaker that enables it to make and receive calls with your phone nearby.
Though, while Cheeter Pro is priced at $300, Cheeter Round and Square are cheaper at $230, yet awesomely designed with lots of interesting features.
It’s your call, you decide.
