Fitbit Versa Lite vs Versa vs Versa 2: What’s the Difference?

The difference between the Versa 2 and Versa is that the former is more equipped with a microphone that enables a voice assistant supported by Alexa which isn’t present in Versa. It also has a more interactive and colorful AMOLED display and as well as a slightly longer battery life than the Versa.

Meanwhile, the difference between the Versa and Versa Lite is that in addition to the new features that come with the Versa 2, the Versa Lite lacks onboard music storage, NFC for Fitbit Pay, and Wifi. The Versa Lite also can’t count floors and lacks onscreen-workout modes – all of which are present in the Versa.

Which is Better?

Fitbit Versa Lite vs Versa vs Versa 2
The Fitbit Versa 2 is a better smartwatch than it’s predecessors

Although all three smartwatches look stylish and elegant in their respective ways, the Versa 2 with a slightly bigger case size has a bigger display size that allows you to see more at a glance compared to the other two. Moreover, its AMOLED display offers a richer and more interactive display that’s fulfilling to watch compared to the transflective LCD display of the other two. Nonetheless, the LCD display of the Versa and Versa Lite is still easy to read in any ambient light condition.

The Versa Lite lacks onboard music storage as well as an NFC chip that’s present on the Versa and Versa 2, this enables Fitbit pay – a non-contactless payment system that allows you to make payments on the go from these two.

The Versa 2 also ships with a microphone which enables the Alexa voice assistant that allows you to carry out simple tasks simply with your voice.

There is an altimeter in the Versa and Versa 2 that enables these two to count floors climbed. This is not present in the Versa Lite. Moreover, onscreen animated workout modes that can guide you through some of your favorite workouts are present on the Versa and Versa 2 but not on Versa Lite.

In addition, the Versa 2 which is tested to last 6 days or more has a longer battery life than the Versa Lite and Versa both of which should keep you going for about 4 days or more.

VERDICT: Although each of these three has got a decent design and great features as well as a long battery life, the Versa 2 with a more outstanding design, more features, and a longer battery life is clearly the best choice. It cost about the same price as the Versa which makes it a great bargain.
