How to Connect WhatsApp to Galaxy Watch Active 2
Before you can receive WhatsApp notifications on the Active 2, you will need to enable it in the Galaxy Wearable app. Once enabled, you will be able to receive and reply to WhatsApp messages on the Active 2.
To enable WhatsApp notifications on the Active 2, open the Galaxy Wearable and click on watch settings. This will take you to the device’s settings dashboard.
Tap on notifications and enable notifications. You can choose to show notifications only when wearing the watch. You can also choose to show while using your phone (it’s advised you to turn this option off to get longer battery life from the Active 2).
If you tap on “see all notification settings” you will be able to set Active 2 to automatically show details of new messages. And you can also choose to turn on the display whenever a new message is received.
Now that you have toggled on notifications for Active 2, you need to toggle on notifications specifically for WhatsApp.

Replying to WhatsApp Messages on Galaxy Watch Active 2
When you receive a WhatsApp message on the Active 2, you have the options to reply with your voice, emojis, or type your reply directly using the built-in Samsung keyboard.
You also have the option to reply using preset quick replies, and there are a handful of quick replies to choose from. You can customize the quick replies when you go to the Galaxy Wearable app>>watch settings>>notifications>>quick responses.
The Active 2 will show pictures and emojis in WhatsApp chats. However, it won’t show videos nor can you listen to voice messages on the watch.
When you receive a WhatsApp call, you can only answer the call on your phone. You can However end a WhatsApp call on the watch.
